Second quarter of C19. Terrace. Each house 4 storeys, 2 windows. Yellow stock
brick, stucco frieze, cornice and blocking course, concealing roof. Nos 45 to
55 have lost cornices. Stucco band at 2nd floor cills. Banded rusticated stucco
ground floor with blocking course as cill band of 1st floor windows. Gauged,
flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars, in stucco- lined
reveals, on 3 upper floors. Ground floor openings round arched, with moulded
architraves, keystones and impost blocks. Steps of varying numbers (as terrace
is on sloping ground) to doors of 4 or 6 panels with cornice heads and semicircular
fanlights. No 49 has cast iron balconies to 1st floor windows.

Nos 45 to 63 (odd) form a group with Nos 37 to 43 (odd)
