House. Early C18 with earlier core; front altered early C19. Squared stone
with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 7 bays. In 5th bay a 6-panelled door with
overlight in Tuscan entablature. 4-pane sashes with projecting sills. Steeply-
pitched gabled roof with C18 kneelers. Banded end and ridge stacks.

Rear projecting cross-gabled stair wing on left has renewed 16-pane sashes and
C18 kneelers. To right a stair and kitchen wing, parallel to front range, also
has renewed 16-pane sashes and C18 kneelers.

Interior has 2 early C18 open-well staircases with thick turned balusters and
moulded handrails. Staircase at east end of house has boldly wreathed handrail.
Large C17 fireplace with stop-chamfered elliptical arch. 2- and 6-panelled
doors, panelled shutters and reveals.
