NU 02 SE BEWICK OLD BEWICK

8/5 Old Bewick Farmhouse

Farmhouse. c1800. Ashlar with margins and horizontal tooling. Welsh slate roof.
3 x 2 bays. 2 storeys. Round-headed central doorway with fanlight, set in blank
arch. 7 steps up to front door; side walls to steps with low octagonal capped
piers. All windows 12-pane sashes. Raised, alternating ashlar quoins. Gables
with flat coping and kneelers. Gable-end stacks, ashlar with band.

To rear, projecting service wing, and short cross wing beyond that. Linking
lean-to loggia with one round pillar with unmoulded capital and base.

Interior not seen.
