Footbridge over lake in park. Probably c1876. Brick and
cast-iron with wooden deck. Horizontal bridge supported by
brick piers at each end and in the centre, with cast-iron
I-beams, panelled cast-iron posts at each end and the centre,
and ornamental cast-iron openwork balustrades.
Forms group with Museum (qv) and Fern House (qv). Matches
South bridge (qv).
