Pair of houses. Probably later C18; altered. Whitewashed
brick, graduated slate roof. Long single-depth linear plan,
probably 3 plus 3 units.
EXTERIOR: single storey; 6-window range. Each house has a
doorway between the first and second windows (board door to
No.5 but altered door to No.3), both protected by a glazed
porch. No.3 has 3-light sliding sash windows, No.5 has similar
windows flanking the porch but the third is now a 4-light
casement (replacing a former 3-light sliding sash). 2 ridge
chimneys opposite the doorways.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with No.1 to left (qv) and No.7 to right (qv).
