Terraced houses. c1855. Stucco, roof of slate, Nos 20 and 24
turnerised.
3 storeys over basement, with dormers, 3-window range. The
house-fronts consist of full-height, and almost full-width,
segmental bays, the entrances being within the segment to the
right, though the entrance of the former No.22 is now a
window. Basement and ground floor decorated with banded
rustication; flat-arched entrance with pilasters and
entablature; doorcase with overlight and panelled door of
original studded design to No.24 but with glazing in upper
panels. All windows flat-arched. Ground-floor windows of Nos
20 and 23-24 have blind boxes; first-floor windows with
moulded stucco architrave, the centre one with a pediment, the
outer ones with cornice; bracketed balcony with cast-iron
railings; second-floor windows with moulded stucco architrave;
6/6 sashes of original design to second- floor windows of Nos
20 and 24; dentil cornice and blocking course; stacks to party
walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron area railings with fleur-de-lys finials.
