Terraced houses. c1825. Stucco to No.41, purplish brick in
Flemish bond to No.42, the bay of which is faced with
mathematical tiles. Roofs obscured by parapet.
3 storeys over basement. 2 windows each. Up stairs to
round-arched entrances, fanlights blocked. To the left of each
entrance is a bay, to No.41 canted stopping just short of the
parapet, to No.42 segmental and full height. All bay windows
are tripartite and flat arched. Sashes rebuilt to original
designs on No.42, which has been restored in the late C20.
Cast-iron balcony to first-floor of bay only, segmental in
plan. To right of each bay, in the entrance range, on the
first and second floors, is a blocked, camber-arched window,
those to No.42 with lintels of gauged brick. Stacks to party
walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Railings to area of No.41 only.
