House. Probably 1840s, perhaps with an earlier core. Mass wall construction, painted and rendered. Painted brick service block; hipped slate roofs; stacks with roughcast shafts and bands and round terracotta chimney pots; cast iron rainwater goods.

Plan: rectangular main range with service block to rear. Through passage behind central front entrance with rooms at either side. Rooms heated by axial chimney stacks.

Exterior: two storeys. Symmetrical, two bay front. Stringcourse at level of cills of ground floor windows, stops at left window. C20 part glazed door. Hornless sash windows with vertical glazing bars at ground floor. Twelve pane hornless sash windows at first floor. Three-light casement window with horizontal glazing bars at first floor level of service block on right return.

INTERIOR: only partially inspected. Panelled dado to through passage. Some original fittings.
