Large house, used as offices. Mid C19. Mass wall construction, painted and stuccoed; hipped slate roof; cast iron rainwater goods.
Plan: Deep rectangular plan with porch to left side. Italianate style.
Exterior: 2 storeys plus attic and basement. Symmetrical 3-bay front. Elaborate eaves treatment using a version of the entablature - deep boxed eaves with corbelled brackets which rise above a moulded cornice above clasping left and right pilasters. Centre bay of front is broken forward. Windows have moulded architraves and are glazed with 2-pane horned sashes, ground floor windows with scalloped valances. 2-light casement windows to basement; 2 dormers with hipped roofs with deep eaves on brackets, glazed with 2-light casements with glazing bars. To the left a projecting single-storey porch has Ionic columns below an entablature and a 6-panel door, upper panels glazed, with panelled reveals to the doorcase.
INTERIOR: Internal wooden shutters to ground floor windows. Other features of interest may survive.
