House and attached railings. Early C19 with later alterations.
Reddish-brown brick with stucco front and side facades,
painted to front, concealed roof and cast-iron railings and
balcony.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with basement, 3 bays, the centre projects
to full height. To second floor are end pilaster strips on
anthemion corbels. First and second floors: to centre and left
are 2/2 sashes, to first floor they are taller and have
sidelights and the centre window has moulded architrave,
frieze and cornice, narrower to left, in plain reveals. To
right a blind opening in plain reveals; to right and left the
openings are within larger recesses; to second floor a sill to
centre, moulded sills to left and right. Moulded cornice, low
parapet, copings. Ground floor: to centre a tripartite window
with 1/1 sash between narrow 1/1 sashes. Entrance to left: 5
roll-edged steps to 4-panel door with overlight within
pilastered porch. End stacks. To first floor, centre,
double-heart-and-anthemion motif balcony.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area lancet railings and gates with
spear-head finials and to sides of steps.
