House, now shop. c1826, with later additions and alterations
including c1900 shop front. Pinkish-brown brick with painted
stucco to front facade, Welsh slate roof. Gothick style with
Art Nouveau shop front.
4 storeys, 2 first-floor windows. First floor has two 6/1
sashes with margin-lights in plain reveals. Second floor has
two ogee-headed 3/6 sashes in plain, ogeed reveals, sills.
Third floor: two 6/6 sashes in plain reveals and with sills.
Ground floor, shop front: end pilasters, central recessed
entrance, a part-glazed door, the glazing shaped to lower
part. Open segmental pediment. Plate-glass windows curving
inwards towards entrance with four Art Nouveau glazing bars,
double frieze, dentil cornice. Cornice, pediment with copings,
end stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Warwick Street was laid out in 1822-1826.
