Terrace of 3 houses. c1820 with later alterations. Numbered
right to left, described left to right. Reddish-brown brick
with painted stucco front facades, Welsh slates to two to
right, cement-tiles to left.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with basements, 6 first-floor windows, 2
per house. Horizontal rustication to basement and ground
floor. First-floor band.
First floor: 6/6 sashes, those 4 to right have tooled
architraves.
Second floor: 3/6 sashes, windows 2 to 5 have tooled
architraves, all windows in plain reveals and with sills.
Ground floor: to left (No.18) 2 roll-edged and 1 further step
to 6-fielded-panel door with overlight with glazing-bars in
fielded-panel reveals, with solid porch with Tuscan pillars,
frieze, cornice and blocking course; otherwise pair of central
entrances to right (Nos 14 and 16): 5 steps (some roll-edged)
to 5-panel doors, the lower panel roll-moulded, part-glazed,
with overlights with glazing-bars within solid porches with
Tuscan pillars, stepped frieze, cornice and blocking course.
To left a canted bay with 2/2 between 1/1 sashes, otherwise
each has tripartite window: 6/6 between 2/2 sashes.
Basements: concealed to left, two 3/6 sashes to centre, 3/6
sash and glazed door to right. To rear: some 6/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: noted as retaining original joinery including
shutters to some windows.
