GV II

House. C17 with mid C20 and 1993 additions. Rendered
timber-frame; thatch roof with round brick end stack.
Single-unit plan; extended to right-angle plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey with attic. Front gable has entrance
with thatched hood over plank door and small light to left.
Small window to each floor with C20 leaded glazing. Left
return has small window to right of large 1993 outshut with
tile roof and entrance to end, replacing earlier C20 outshut.
Right return similar, but to left half of elevation only. Rear
has exposed timber-frame of 3 x 2 panels with trenched purlin
ends to collar truss with ridge purlin set in halved and
crossed apex.
INTERIOR: not inspected but noted as having beams, winding
staircase and open fireplace with timber bressumer.
