Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions and alterations
including C19 additions to left. Square timber-framing with
brick infill, right end rendered, plain-tile roof, brick
stacks. 4-unit plan plus cross-wing.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic. Entrance in porch to angle
has plank door and moulded wood frame. Two 2-light fixed-light
windows with lead cames to right. 2 gabled dormer windows with
casements in wood frames.
Cross-wing projecting to left has 3-light casements to ground
and attic floors with lead cames. Gabled dormer on return to
right. Catslide roof to rear of cross-wing. Small
timber-framing to rear. Steeply pitched gabled roofs. Massive
axial stack with 3 square brick shafts.
INTERIOR: has extensive timber-framing, with close-studding to
right and small frames to centre.
