Row of 5 houses, No.267 and No.269 now one property. Early
C19. Brick laid to Flemish bond; gabled old tile roof, renewed
to left end (No.265), brick stack to front of ridge to left,
and later C19 brick stack to rear of ridge and 3 similar
stacks to front of ridge. Single-unit plan each, except No.267
which has 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 6-window range. Top dentilled brick
cornice. Most entrances are segmental-headed, as are windows
to right. No.265 with plank door, No.269 with wide-boarded
door; Nos 271 & 273 with half-glazed panelled doors, that to
No.273 in pegged frame; No.267 has central entrance with
4-flush-panel door and open timber porch with dentilled
cornice and latticed sides. Ground floor has 6 windows with
2-light small-paned casements; No.267 has 2 windows with later
canopies. First floor has windows with 2-light small-paned
casements. No.267 has 2 gabled dormers with plain bargeboards
and similar casements; some iron opening casements.
