Farmhouse. C17 with C18 addition. Coursed limestone rubble;
steeply pitched graduated stone slate roof with coped stone
gables and stone end stacks. Left part: 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; 3-window range. Entrance to
rear. Ground floor has windows with renewed 2-light and
3-light small-paned casements; 1st floor has three windows
with 3-light small-paned casement; attic has 2 gabled dormers
with small 2-light leaded casements. Right part: 2 storeys;
2-window range. Coped stone gables. Entrance to left end has
plank door in moulded stone doorcase with key block. Windows
have eared stone architraves with key blocks to small-paned
casements; 2 similar 1st floor windows.
Right return has attic window. Rear has entrance in gabled
porch to right of C20 window; 1st floor has 2 windows with
timber lintels over 2-light leaded casements, that to left
C20. Lower range to right has stair window with small-paned
cross-casement, with C20 window to right. Right end has C20
porch and attached range of early C19 stone farm buildings
with C20 alterations and C19 brick barn returned to end.
