SO5170 Bridge over railway at NGR SO 5181

Bridge. Dated 1866. Girder bridge carrying farm track over
railway built in 1853. Brick piers with steel and cast-iron
bridge. Splayed approach walls each side with brick retaining
walls. Ashlar string courses and weathered coping. Raised
stone pyramid-coped piers at each end of walls. Steel girders
with date plaque 'BRYMBO 1866'. Cast-iron balustrade with
close-set arcaded balusters.
