Detached house. Late C18 with mid C19 alterations. Coursed
rubble with colourwashed render to front, with ashlar copings
and gabled single-Roman tile roof with gable end ashlar
stacks.
PLAN: single-depth plan with rear service wing.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey; 3-window main range. Symmetrical south
front with central doorway and coped end gables. All windows
are mid C19 small-pane paired casements set in original C18
openings with sills; square projecting porch with part-glazed
panelled inner door. 2-storey service wing with late C19
paired casement fenestration.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Although there are substantial C19 alterations, the building
is tall and imposing in the streetscape.
