House, now in use as restaurant with accommodation over.
probably late C18 with later alterations. Rendered, probably
timber-framed; slate roof, stacks with brick shafts. U-plan
with 2 gable-ended rear service wings.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys. 3-window front. Pilastered doorcase to
right with sunk panels and cornice and recessed 4-panel door,
upper panels fielded, the lower panels flush; fanlight with
spoke glazing bars and cast or carved motifs decorating the
doorcase.
Shop front with sunk-panelled pilasters to left and right and
sunk panels below the sills of the shop windows which are
canted in towards the door. First-floor windows are boxed
12-pane sashes; 2nd flor windows are 3 over 6-pane sashes.
