House. Early C19; possibly a remodelling of an earlier
building. Solid rendered walls. Slated roof. Red brick chimney
on right end wall; another on rear wall, to left.
2 storeys. 3-window range with broad, windowless splayed
corner to right. Doorway, off-centre to right, has
deeply-recessed door with 4 moulded and glazed upper panels,
the top 2 with coloured leaded glass; lower part has later
vertical planking. Former shop window to left with flanking
pilasters and entablature; 10 panes with moulded uprights and
light horizontals. Box-framed sash window with 8 over 8 panes
to right of each storey. Blind window in centre of upper
storey. 3-light wood casement with 8 panes per light to left.
1 small, plain sash window in right side wall. INTERIOR not
inspected.
