Shop with offices above. c1840, possibly a remodelling of an
earlier building. Brick with stucco dressings and copper roof
with 2 side wall stacks. Italianate style.
First floor sill band on brackets, moulded second floor band,
quoins, modillion eaves, plain parapet. 4 storeys, 5 bays.
Full width late C20 shopfront has rendered pilasters and a
near-central door and splayed flanking windows. To left, a
plain doorway. Above, 5 plain and margin light sashes arranged
1/3/1, with round headed surrounds and pilasters. The right
one has been replaced by a late C19 canted oriel window.
Above again, 4 margin light sashes, and a plain sash to the
right, with cornices. Above them, 4 glazing bar sashes and a
plain sash to the right, with eared architraves.
