Includes: No.35 PEN STREET THREADNEEDLE STREET.
House. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, hipped pantile
roofs, 1 ridge and 1 tall wall stack. L-plan.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 1-bay front to Pen Street and 3-bay front
to Threadneedle Street, with set back 2-storey single bay
wing. To Pen Street a single plain sash to each floor. To
Threadneedle Street a central 6-panel door and plain
overlight, set in pedimented doorcase with attached Doric
half-columns and frieze, flanked by single plain sashes. To
1st floor, to the right a blocked window opening, with a
similar smaller opening above. To the left a tall
semicircular-headed stair window.
The 2-storey range has a single glazing bar sash to each
floor. Openings are flat rubbed brick wedge arches to Pen
Street and similar segmental-headed arches to Threadneedle
Street.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
