Cottage. Late C16. Altered and extended mid C20.
MATERIALS: Timber frame with painted brick infill. Hipped and
gabled thatched roof.
PLAN: L-plan of 2 x 2 framed bays.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Single gable chimney and single tall
chimney at rear with clay pot and bread oven in base. C20
leaded casement windows. East (entrance) front: 2-bays,
windows set within timber frame. Plain, plank entrance door to
left of centre with lean-to interlocking clay tile hood on
plain brackets. Single bay projecting gable on right, with
large arch braces between posts and tie of roof truss.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
