Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey painted rubble, partly rendered

with raised pointed margins. 3-bay farmhouse with 2-bay

cottage to right, continuous roof level, regularly spaced

openings.

To left symmetrical 3-bay block with central door. To right

2-bay block with door to left. Doors with astragalled

fanlights. All windows single-light, sash and case with

4-pane glazing.

Good graded slate roof with axial and end coped stacks. End

skews, sandstone ridge, thackstanes.

Rear elevation with single-storey lean-to addition.

INTERIOR: only plain square timber stair balusters survive as

sole original fitments. Room layout unaltered apart from slapping-through of doors in party wall.
