Description

Late 18th/early 19th century; additions and alterations,
Alexander Ross, 1871. Harled, painted margins. 2 storeys, 3
bays; double pile, the later addition being of similar
dimensions as, and added to frontage of, earlier house.
Slightly advanced gable, centre bay with corniced entrance;
bipartites to ground and 1st floor outer bays. Single piended
dormer survives in old house; also some 12-pane glazing.
Elsewhere 4-pane glazing. Corniced end stacks; slate roof;
single storey wing to rear. Interior; curved staircase in
earlier house with barley-sugar twist balusters. Remains of
rubble 3-bay cottage to west, possibly former manse.
Steading; rubble L-plan steading with byre.
