Description

House: rambling 2-storey house of varying dates from late
18th to late 19th century. Harled with tooled ashlar margins;
roughly L-plan, with re-entrant enclosed by crenellated
walls to form small court. Principal entrance now in north,
in base of projecting 2-storey and attic drum tower, with 3
small decorative piended dormers, conical fishscale slate
roof topped by bellcote and weathervane. Some windows rise
through wallhead into gabled dormers; varied glazing;
crowsteps; angle bartizans; margined ridge and end stacks;
slate roofs.
