Description

"J Carruthers and Sons, 1877" (inscribed on N parapet);
roadbridge, 2 segmental arches over White Esk. Mainly
rubble-built; voussoirs, band courses, parapet coping,
bull-nosed pointed cutwaters and terminal piers all red ashlar;
shallow battered abutments; roadway and straight parapets both
slope downwards towards W bank.
