Earlier/mid 19th century in present form; 2-storey farmhouse;
steading across road, to S, mainly contemporary some work
probably circa 1853. All whitewashed rubble and ashlar
dressings, house with contrasting painted margins. Slate
roofs.

stacks. Wide E flank. Asymmetrical ranges to rear (N) and
screen wall.
STEADING: irregular-plan courtyard bounded partly by L-plan
tall block with loft, square (?engine house) stack in
re-entrant angle; E-facing arcaded cartshed now altered; low
block to roadside, also L-plan, elevation to courtyard
entirely post and lintel construction; plain range adjoining
to NE with forestair and end stacks. 2 detached blocks to S
and large modern shed.
