Description

Mid 19th century. One and a half storey picturesque L-plan

house. Raised from single storey cottage in 19th century, to

rear raised in brick.

Rubble built with granite rusticated quoins, ground floor

windows with architraves and hood moulds, raised painted

margins to 1st. Hoodmoulded doorway with panelled door and honeycomb-glazed small pane fanlight. To right bipartite

hoodmoulded window, to left advanced gabled bay with

bipartite window. All ground floor windows casements with

small-pane hexagonal glazing pattern. To attic storey barge

boarded dormer to left, to right window in gable head, all

with modern glazing.

Steeply pitched slate roofs with overhanging eaves, end

stacks of bull faced granite with tall individual stacks,

octagonal cans. To rear brick raised portion to left, many

alterations.
