Description

Early 19th century. Gabled one and a half storey Gothic
lodge. T-plan with rear jamb partly heightened in brick.
Squared rubble walling with ashlar quoins and margins. Single
storey square plan corniced ashlar porch with pointed-arch
openings, studded timber door, hexagon-paned windows.
All windows in chamfered ashlar margins, mostly single light
and retaining original casements with decorative hexagonal
multi-pane glazing. Windows modern plate glass where
replaced.
Deeply overhanging timber bracketted eaves, slate roof, tall
octagonal paired cans placed centrally.
Rear elevation partly painted and raised to 2 storeys in
brick, broad-eaved slate piended roof.
