18th century. Square-plan roofless dovecot, probably of lectern type. Rubble rendered walling with projecting rat-courses. Barrel-vaulted basement, nesting boxes to upper levels. Brick and slate boxes, approximtely 400 boxes. To S triangular red sandstone panel to top level with flight holes and perches. Further rectangular opening. Door to N wall with sandstone chamfered jambs.
