Description

Thomas Twaddel and Thomas Porteous of Dumfries contracting
masons. Dated 1758. Roadbridge; 3 segmental arches over
Cluden Water; widened to east probably 20th century.
Squared red rubble, ashlar voussoirs, keystones, pointed
cutwaters either side: band course below ramped parapets:
asymmetrical abutments and approach walls.
