Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, with 1st floor breaking eaves, 5-bay house; formerly 2- and 3-bay pair of houses. Painted rubble. Painted base course. Projecting cills.

N (LAIGH ROW) ELEVATION: boarded door in bay to right of centre. Windows to both floors in centre and outer bays; broad gabled dormerheads to windows at 1st floor. Evidence of former door in bay to left of centre.

E ELEVATION: harled above lower adjoining house.

W ELEVATION: painted rubble above lower adjoining cottage.

8-pane glazing in sash and case windows. No skews. Brick stacks, gablehead to E and W, ridge between 2nd and 3rd bays. Purple slates.
