Description

Probably 1825/30. Roadbridge; single segmental arch over Mein
Water. Rubble-built, with slightly battered abutments,
V-channelled and graded voussoirs; band course below
parapets, latter bull-faced ashlar, gently ramped and splayed
at approaches, low pyramidal caps to square terminal piers.

Statement of Interest

Similar design to Mein Bridge further downstream, which is by

Thomas Telford, 1826.
