Description

Earlier 19th century. 2 open barns, running parallel. Granite monolithic pillars supporting piended roofs. Graded grey slates. 5-bay to E and W. Single bay to N and S, except 2-bay to N and W barn.

The Open Barns are situated to the N of Cairnsmore Stables (see

separate listing). They are shown on the OS Map of 1849-50.
