Description

Mid-later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay painted rubble house
with flanking recessed single storey wings.
Boulder basecourse, painted rubble walling. House may have
been raised from single storey cottage. Polished raised
margins.
Central doorway, narrow fanlight with gold lettering 'Old
Temperance Inn'.
Panelled glazed door.
Sash and case windows, 4-pane glazing pattern.
Slate roofs, sandstone skews, coped end stacks.
Rear elevation: paired windows to ground right with brick
jambs. One window with out of character modern aluminium
frames, otherwise glazing as above.
Flanking single storey wings: to left piend roofed with cart
arch to right, sliding garage doors to left.
Right wing slightly lower with pitch roof and 2 x 12-pane
sashes.
