Description

Plan provided by Frederick Maxwell, architect, Terregles, &
William Crockat, mason, New Abbey. Built 1802.
2 storeys and attic, 3 bays, unusually deep house with 3
windows to south gable; low north wing. Manse. Rubble built
with ashlar margins all painted; central gabled late 19th
century porch white granite rubble with red ashlar dressings
(door in re-entrant angle). 12-pane sashes; eaves/lintel
band; 2 piended, canted dormers; straight skews; margined end
stacks; roofed with graded slates; Set behind low
rubble-built wall.
