Description

Circa 1840. Ornamental lodge, with gatepiers.
cast-iron gates and railings.
Lodge: single storey; L-plan, with porch in re-entrant
angle; plain gabled bay to N probably an addition.
Stugged red coursers with polished margins. Projecting
eaves, gable heads with decorative barge-boards; axial
stack with cornice linking twin flues; fish-scale
slated roof with red ridging tiles.
Gatepiers: Neo-Jacobean; 4 corniced octagonal piers at
canted SW angle of walled grounds; dwarf linking walls;
