Description

Circa 1870. Asymmetrical villa with complex roofline and with
Gothic details. 2 storeys and attic, built on slope, and
with basement to garden (W). Stugged red ashlar with
polished dressings; some mullioned windows. 2 advanced gables
to street, door in that to right (the narrower) with
cusped-headed bipartite over. 2-bay garden elevation, left
bay gabled, right bay with gabled dormer head. Shaped skews
with finials and gabletted skewputts; corniced end stacks
with chimney breasts corbelled above ground; grouped square
flues; slate roofs. Ashlar-coped rubble-built garden walls
with square gatepiers.
