Description

Dated 1884. 3-storey tenement with shops at ground all
contained beneath cornice, and off-centre segmental-arched
gated and cobbled pend to rear courtyard; 5 (2 + 3) bays.
Red ashlar. Shops each with large window and recessed door;
2 round-headed close doorways, each pilastered and pedimented,
panelled doors with fanlights. Architraved 1st floor windows;
2nd floor windows break through eaves and have pedimented
dormer heads and string at cill level. Moulded eaves; end
stacks; slate roof. Courtyard buildings single storey,
attic windows with pedimented dormer heads; former mission
hall (dated 1885) at E end of courtyard with double doorway,
rooflights and axial ventilator.
