Description

Built circa 1790 by Thomas Scott and Company as a cotton mill, now partly domestic, partly disused sawmill. 3-storey, 6-bay painted rubble building. Southern most 3 bays now converted as flats, porch to gound floor, all windows single light with sash and case plate glass 2-pane glazing. Northern most bays with timber sawmill building adjoining, windows with 12-pane glazing, some blocked. Rear elevation with projecting bay to centre. Slate roofs, end skews, coped end stacks.
