Description

Oval plan graveyard containing variety of 18th and 19th century gravestones and mausoleum.

MAUSOLEUM: rectangular, ashlar mausoleum with door (plain boarded) and substantial pyramidal ashlar roof, set in rubble enclosure with coping.

Statement of Interest

The graveyard presumably served the church built in 1777, replacing that at Penninghame Clachan (now ruinous) and replaced in turn by that of 1838.
