Description

David Smart 1863-66. Italian Renaissance. 2-storey and attic
ashlar with quoin ends, 2 5-window frontages linked by
central recessed bay on South Street with pedimented Roman
Doric doorpieces lugged architrave windows ground floor
consoled windows with centre segmental and end triangular
pedimented windows at 1st floor; 3-window end elevation to
Tay Street, alternating pediments 1st floor, double chimney
feature embracing twin arched and key blocked windows with
supporting scrolls. Slated roof.
