History

Dated 1754 and initialled ES.

Exterior

3 storey, broad, 2 window painted roughcast front with slate roof and red brick chimney stacks; painted quoins and cill bands. Kneeler to right hand gable. 12 pane sash windows to 2nd floor with stone dressings; 16-pane sash to 1st floor left with leaf motif to lintel, as on window above. Splayed oriel to right with panelled apron and horned sash glazing. Central date plaque and Prince of Wales feathers. 3 shop fronts, that to left has 2-windows flanking half-glazed door and Regency roundels over pilasters. Sash windows to left with marginal glazing bar to the top and round arched heads to right; formerly a butchers shop. Central shop front has bracket fascia with small showcases to pilasters, modern window and splayed entrance. 3-light shop window to right with later glazing.

1-window cross range to rear with small pane sashes.

Cobbled yard.
