History

Ca 1900. Arts and Crafts Gothic.

Exterior

3 storey and attic, 4 window banded ashlar front, slate roof behind parapet with gabled centre. Griffin finial, 3 grouped cusped lights, stringcourse with headstops under (panel defaced). Moulded cornice, polygonal buttresses, fine Gothic traceried frieze over 1st floor, plain frieze over ground floor. 1st and 2nd floor windows linked vertically in segmental arched recesses (formerly with vertical mullions), glazing modernised. Arched ground floor openings with blocked architraves and rich stiff-leaf spandrel foliage; modern glazing retains scrolled pediments to fanlights, panelled pilasters, 6 panel door on left.
