History

The house, St Tewdric (qv) is said to have been built in 1845 and the walls will have been built at the same time as the house. The wall along the road has been partly rebuilt in early 2000.

Exterior

Walls of white limestone rubble about 3m in height and about 200m in length running along Mathern Road and then returning down the St Tewdric entrance drive. There is a small door at the corner, and a number of buttresses on the inner face.

Included for their group value with the adjacent St Tewdric house and the stable block.
