History

A significant surviving feature of a former formal garden, probably constructed at about the same time as the library wing was added to the house, before 1902.

Exterior

A small circular pond in the centre of the former sunken rose garden, containing a pedestalled cast-iron fountain with 2 tiers of gadrooned bowls and the jet clasped by 2 cherubs.
