History

Probably C18, as part of a substantial farmyard improvement.

Exterior

A long lofted sheds and stabling range in axe-dressed uncoursed local limestone masonry, with a roof of small slates, facing S to the farmyard. At left is an outside staircase in stone leading to a loft door. Nine loft hatches, all close to eaves, all except 3 at right with stone sills; now with windows. At left 2 cartsheds with deep semi-elliptical openings. Doors to right with low windows each side, with cambered arches.
