Country house, mid C18 but incorporating parts of a C17 structure. Coursed,
squared rubble, part rendered, squared rubble dressings. Stone slated
roofs with gable ends and stone copings. L-shapedplan. East facade;
symmetrical, 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows appear to be of C17 origin.
Ground floor has 2 5-light, stone, mullioned and transomed windows with
square heads and hollow chamfers. Central ashlar porch with open pediment
and pilasters. Round headed recessed doorway with fanlight. Upper floor
has 3 4-light, square headed, mullioned windows with hallow chamfers.
Moulded plinth. The other facades also have a number of square-headed
stone mullion windows with labels. The west gable has an C18 lunette
window. Internally there are a number of fireplaces with 4-centred heads
and an C18 staircase with close strings, square balusters, moulded oak hand
