1/32 Apple Tree Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17, timber-framed with early C19 cladding to part, with a thatched
roof. T-shaped plan. 1 storey and attic. The roof is ½-hipped to the
front on the west side, with framing in the gable, hipped at the east end, with
a catslide at the rear. Exposed frame to the eastern half, with painted brick
infill, the other walls are flint with brick dressings and horizontal bands;
in the gable the frame is filled with alternate bands of brick and flint.
Casements. 4-panelled door in a heavy frame.
